Nothing improves your appearance more than a bright, white smile!

Veneers

Veneers are thin, semi-translucent “shells” typically attached to your front teeth.  Similar to a dental crown,  veneers are customized from porcelain material that is bonded to your teeth. Veneers are a great alternative to otherwise painful dental procedures to improve the appearance of your smile.

Common problems that veneers are used for:

  • Spaces between the teeth
  • Broken or chipped teeth
  • Unsightly, stained or discolored teeth
  • Permanently stained or discolored teeth
  • Crooked or misshapen teeth

Veneers are a great aesthetic solution to your smile that may even help you avoid orthodontic treatment. Subtle changes to your smile can be achieved with veneers, and in most cases, veneer application is completed in only two office visits.

Please contact our office if you have any further questions on veneers.

Composite Bonding

Bonding is a common solution for:

  • Fixing or repairing chipped or cracked teeth
  • Reducing unsightly gaps or spaces between teeth
  • Hiding discoloration or faded areas on the tooth’s surface

Often, composite bonding is used to improve the appearance of your teeth and enhance your smile. As the name indicates, composite material, either a plastic or resin, is bonded to an existing tooth. Unlike veneers or crowns, composite bonding removes little, if any, of the original tooth.

Composite bonding has many advantages:

  • It is a quick process, which typically lasts less than one hour.
  • It does not reduce the tooth’s original structure and is relatively inexpensive.
  • Composite resins come in many different shades and provide better matching of shades to the natural color of your teeth.
  • Composite bonds, however, are not as durable and long-lasting as veneers and crowns and may need to be re-touched or replaced in the future.

Composite bonds can collect stain from the foods we eat. Coffee, tea and tobacco can lead to this discoloration.  They require proper care and regular cleaning to ensure long lasting esthetics. In order to ensure the longest possible duration of the bonding, composites should be brushed and flossed daily and checked with periodic exams by your dentist and hygienist.

From Our Patients' Mouths

I am long overdue writing this great review. I have had a lot of dental work over the years and I have to say Ladeau Family Dental practice is simply the best in care, knowledge, and helping you get thru any procedure and wonderful cleaning. I had a tooth pulled the day before Thanksgiving and some repair work recently and Dr. Ladeau was so great and his team made me feel great and I highly recommend this dental practice to anyone who needs a new dentist. And I forgot to mention I travel 45 min. to this location and I feel like they treat me like family! Thank you so very much!

Kimberly Clark

From the minute I walk in, I'm made welcome. The staff are great. They let me know what they're doing and why- from a cleaning to an implant I recently had done. I feel relaxed here. And this is coming from a person who had a terrible/traumatic childhood experience with our family dentist growing up. I don't dred the dentist anymore.

Kelly Marinilli

I am so very happy to find a dental office with so many caring and personable people. They are accommodating and welcoming and I highly recommend them if you are looking for an office that feels like family.
