A dental implant is a specially designed artificial tooth root that’s placed into your jaw bone. This multifaceted screw is capable of supporting various prosthetics, including a single tooth, a bridge, partial or complete dentures. Dental implants have become a reliable option for people who have lost one or more teeth. In some cases the entire mouth can be reconstructed with the implants as the foundation.
In order to be a good candidate for implants you must be in overall good health, have adequate jaw bone to support the implant and have healthy tissue that is free of periodontal disease.
Our team will assess your candidacy for dental implants or if additional procedures may be necessary to prepare the implant site foundation.
Once your dental implant(s) have been placed and restored our team will perform periodic follow-up visits to monitor your implant, bone, teeth and gums to make sure they maintain health and stability. It is important to continue to care for your implant teeth similar to your natural teeth with routine oral hygiene and regular dental exams.
