Our job at Ladeau Family Dental is to provide our patients with the best dental care possible. In order to do so we ask for your cooperation in adhering to office policies that enable us to provide you the services you deserve.
Appointments
Your scheduled appointment time has been reserved specifically for you. We request a 24-hour notice if you need to cancel your appointment. We are aware that unforeseen events sometimes require missing an appointment and appreciate your cooperation. Repeat failures for appointments may lead to a missed appointment fee or dismissal from the practice.
Insurance
Our office is committed to helping you maximize your insurance benefits. Because insurance policies vary, we can only estimate your coverage in good faith but cannot guarantee coverage due to the complexities of insurance contracts. Your estimated patient portion must be paid at the time of service. As a service to our patients, we will bill insurance companies for services. If you have any questions, our courteous staff is always available to answer them.
Radiographs
Dental radiographs or x-rays are a diagnostic tool which allows our providers to properly determine your dental condition and cater treatment for your individual needs. Radiographs in addition to a comprehensive oral exam are an integral part of the treatment planning process. Refusal of dental radiographs can lead to misdiagnosis and inadequate treatment, therefore it is our policy to take dental radiographs as a baseline for new patients and periodically based on determined risk factors. Our office adheres to the guidelines recommended through the ADA for the frequency at which radiographs should be taken. Failure to comply with our radiograph policy may lead to dismissal from the practice
